Christmas is a great time of year to mix family and fun. Need a few ideas to keep your family entertained while off work and out of school? Capture the magic of the season and try these fun activities.

Decorate a Gingerbread House - Break the fam up into teams and make it a contest. The winner gets to pick the Christmas movie!
Bake sugar cookies - I love to get out the cookie cutters I've collected for years and make all sorts of shapes. And the icing... OH, the icing! Be sure to let little hands help too. They wash. And so does the cabinet... and the floor. The carpet? Not so much.
Take family pictures - Ask a friend, higher a professional, or use a tripod. If it's snowing, you get bonus points! Then see #4.
Send Christmas cards - Use idea #3, upload them to your favorite online photo printer, and have everyone sign them in a festive ink color.
